Vladimir Putin took part in the events of the Second Belt and Road International Forum. After that the Russian President held talks with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. Also, the President of Russia received anhonorary doctorate from Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading universities.

On the following day Vladimir Putin took part in the first session of the round table discussion at the International Belt and Road Forum. After the round table the President answered journalists’ questions.

As part of his working visit to China the Russian President also had a number of bilateral meetings with heads of state who attended the forum.
