With a view to protect the national interests of the Russian Federation and in accordance with Federal Laws No 281-FZ dated December 30, 2006 On Special Economic Measures and Coercive Measures, and No 390-FZ dated December 28, 2010 On Security, the President has resolved to extend from January 1, 2025 to December 13, 2026, the effect of certain special economic measures provided for by Presidential Decree No 560 of August 6, 2014 On the Application of Certain Special Economic Measures to Ensure Security of the Russian Federation and extended by a number of executive orders issued by the President in 2015–2023.

The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to ensure, within its competence, the implementation of measures necessary for the execution of this Executive Order, and, if necessary, to make proposals to change the validity period of certain special economic measures provided for in this Executive Order.
